During the height of the pandemic Shawnee State wanted to transition to something safer for its students and the greater community. Shawnee’s multiple gaming departments would through virtual panels, career fairs, and events in lieu of the annual Shawnee Game Conference.

Esports is a land of opportunity for gamers and entrepreneurs alike. The landscape is ripe for experimentation, investment, and innovation. But, how do you capitalize on it? And more importantly, how do you increase diversity and inclusion in a predominately male sport to allow for growth and equal access for all? The SSU Kricker Innovation Hub is pleased to welcome a panel of industry experts that will address these issues and talk about opportunity, innovation, and inclusion within Esports and gaming.

Representatives from places such as, Epic Games, Treyarch, Apple Arcade, Roll20 all joined together to discuss career development, the landscape of the game industry, and more.
